The Old Catholics launch the Virtual Summer School.

Today, 7th July 2020 starts the first-ever Old/Independent Catholic Virtual Summer School that will run until 17th July. Some scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the whole price and people can choose whether booking for week one, two or both.

Organised by the Hon. Rev. Jayme Mathias (M.A., M.B.A., M.Div., M.S., Ph.D.) from Austin, Texas, this school will have, among it highlights, the participation of Father and Dr Peter-Ben Smit of the Old Catholic Church of the Netherlands who holds a Professorshipat the Faculty of Theology of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Among the topics to be discussed, there will be programmes on the role and experience of women in Old/Independent Catholicism, as well as a session on the Black experience of Old/Independent Catholicism.
